So please read below to know more about it.
About The Brand Pond’s
Pond’s is a well-known name in the Indian beauty and skincare industry, to which we were introduced right in childhood. And who can forget the “Googly Woogly Wooksh …” advertisement, which was like an anthem for winters? But before exploring the product, here are a few words about the brand itself:
“Pond’s has bloomed since 1846 to become the world’s leading skincare brand. With the birth of The Pond’s Institute in the 1990s (today a global network of 700 scientists and skin specialists), Pond’s firmly established itself as one of the world’s leading experts in advanced skincare research and diagnostics. With over 200 patents, The Pond’s Institute introduced many firsts (GenWhite technology, Intelligent Pro-Cell Complex, Activated Carbon) in skin cleansing, skin lightening, and age management. Every Pond’s product comes with a fascinating ‘skinnovation’ story and insights from years of scientific research. Our solutions are specially formulated for ever-evolving skincare needs and concerns across different life stages, changing lifestyles, and environments. Pond’s is dedicated to bringing out the best in your skin – always strong inside and beautifully soft outside.”

Pond’s Silk Cream comes in a cute little plastic tub, which is milky white with a hint of blue. It is so beautiful that I don’t even feel like touching it and making it dirty. There is an outer white carton on which all necessary information regarding the product is mentioned. The tub is quite sturdy and opaque. Hence, you cannot see how much product is left inside. It comes in small and big packs; you can carry it everywhere without spillage.
Look And Feel
The cream is pure white and feels like butter or even softer. It is rich, super light, and creamy, gliding over the skin like ‘silk.’ It gets absorbed instantly into the skin. The smell of the product is mild and pleasant. It is more or less similar to the usual smell of other Pond’s products.

My Experience With Pond’s Silk Cream
I have oily skin and don’t indulge in moisturizing face creams. But during winter, my face goes quite dry. I could not tolerate the dryness of the skin, and one night, I applied this cream and went off to sleep. I was praying not to get a breakout the following day, and to my surprise, my skin was awesomely repaired. It took away all the dryness and did not cause me any breakouts.
I have been using it for over a month now. Initially, I used to apply it all over my face and, later, only to those areas where I had dry skin. Though I was a bit concerned at first because of the long list of chemicals mentioned in the packaging, the effects are pretty impressive, I must say. The results are pretty quick, and I haven’t faced any skin problems (breakouts, rashes, or redness). The cream made my skin baby-soft just within a week. You will be tempted to touch your cheeks repeatedly after using it.
I apply the cream only at nighttime as my skin tends to become greasy when used during the daytime. Also, you should apply only to the dry areas if you have oily skin. People with normal and dry skin can apply it to the entire face. I even use it on my palms before sleeping, and I cannot ask for softer skin at this price. However, the ’24-hour moisture lock’ claim is not valid. It keeps the skin soft and hydrated for an extended period, but you must reapply if you have dehydrated skin.
