How To Use Coconut Water For Skin

Get a flawless and gorgeous skin by using coconut water in the following ways:

  1. Moisturize Dry Skin

Proper hydration is the secret to a healthy-looking skin. Whether your skin is naturally dry or pollution, sun exposure or chemical beauty products have dried it out, coconut water will come to your rescue anytime. Make a simple moisturizing face mask by mixing (1/2) teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of pure, raw, organic honey with 2 tablespoons of fresh coconut water. Massage it well into your skin by moving your fingertips gently in small circles. Using it on every alternate day will infuse your skin with adequate moisture without making it greasy. It suits all skin types but make sure that you do not use lemon juice (for dry skin) or honey (for oily skin) in excessive amounts.

  1. Combat Signs Of Aging

Premature signs of aging can affect your self-esteem. However, with the age-defying properties of coconut water, you can delay the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, age spots on your skin for a longer time. It is rich in cytokines that repair our skin damages and make it firmer by aiding in cellular growth. Mix 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt with 1 tablespoon of coconut water. Blend them well to form a smooth paste. Then, apply it all over your face and keep for 15 minutes. Using this mask twice every week will help you exfoliate as well as moisturize your skin so that it becomes soft, smooth and supple while you look at least 10 years younger.

  1. Eliminate Sun Tan

Being a rich source of the antioxidant vitamin C, coconut water can remove sun tan and all sorts of blemishes naturally, affordably, and effectively. Take 2 tablespoons of fuller’s earth and mix 3 tablespoons of fresh coconut water with it. Stir well to form a paste of thin consistency. Apply it all over your face and rinse off after 15 minutes, once it dries up. This simple face pack will reverse sun tan while preventing your skin from further sun damages. You will also get rid of unsightly dark spots and patches, blemishes, pigmentation, and skin discoloration by using it regularly.
