“Ah yes, another wellness program that’s going to ‘change my life.’ Because I haven’t heard that before.”
This was my word-for-word reaction when my mom started talking about her 60-day Thrive challenge experience. At first, I was worried my mom had fallen for a scam, but when I saw how much better she genuinely seemed to feel, I was intrigued. My mom went from never wanting to leave her house to someone who calls me up to go for a daily walk. After quizzing her on what she’d been doing for the last two months, I decided to look into Thrive myself.
Ever since I hit my 30s, I just haven’t had the same energy as before—and for a couple of years, I’d been going from program to program trying to find something that would help. About 6 months ago, I realized I struggled with creating and sticking to certain habits that would give me the energy I was missing. The problem was, finding ways to energize my body took…energy. I was in a vicious cycle of needing the energy to be more energetic.
When I finally took the plunge and started the 60-day challenge myself, the main thing I was looking for was to “feel better.” I was pleasantly surprised when I started having a lot more energy throughout my entire day, not to mention better focus at work and most importantly, the stamina and clarity to practice my other health habits.
If you’re considering trying the 60-day challenge but are feeling skeptical, believe me—I get it. I didn’t think I would be here writing this Thrive review, but it made enough of a difference to help me get my life back on track. So, here are the things I learned as a critic-turned-super-fan of the Thrive challenge.
What Is Le-Vel Thrive?
If you’re new to the Thrive scene, let me fill you in on the basics. Le-Vel is a multi-billion dollar company that promotes its health-and-wellness program called Thrive. With over 10 million customers around the world, Thrivers use the wellness program in conjunction with their other health goals to get results.
Their three main products are designed to help with your overall wellness—their official website talks about weight and appetite management, digestion, immune support, joint function, and more. Combined with exercise, sleep, and healthy foods, Thrive is meant to supplement deficiencies in your body and get you on track to reaching your health and wellness goals.
What Is The 60-Day Thrive Challenge?
There are 3 main steps to the Thrive Experience, which can all be completed in the same hour in the morning.
Step 1: Take two Premium Lifestyle Capsules
First, there are two capsules you take in the morning right after you wake up. Take these before you eat and on an empty stomach for the best results. These capsules have nutrients you might be missing, like antioxidants, enzymes, probiotics, amino acids, and more.
Step 2: Drink a Thrive shake from the Premium Lifestyle Shake Mix.
After you take the capsules in the morning, wait for 20 minutes before enjoying the Thrive shake. Similar to the capsules, a shake has a lot of important and energy-boosting nutrients, too.
Step 3: Apply the Thrive DFT to a patch of clean, dry, lean skin.
You can do this at any point of the day as long as you replace the DFT about every 24 hours. For me, it’s easier to just include it in my morning routine at about the same time every day to get a fresh start. That way, my Thrive steps are all done before I really get started on my day and I don’t have to worry about it anymore.
My 60-Day Challenge Thrive Review: 3 Things I Learned
1. Completing the challenge helps you create a lifestyle
If you’re here looking for a miracle pill or want to lose weight overnight, the Thrive Experience probably isn’t for you. I like to think about it as a health tool that bridges the gaps in my diet and energy levels, something that I just couldn’t create on my own. Those first 60 days were just the beginning of a much better lifestyle for me, which I’ve maintained.
Will you do a total 180 after doing the challenge for 60 days? It really depends on the person and the multi-level approach you take with your health. For me, I did start getting a nice energy boost within about a week—this really helped me get over my 2:00 pm slump. I felt better in general, which was the catalyst for improving other parts of my life. Instead of grabbing fast food on the way home, I still have plenty of energy and motivation after work to make a home-cooked meal. My joints were in great condition, which helped me last longer at the gym.
Within 60 days, I had basically optimized all of my health habits. The key was jump-starting the process using my Thrive products. I don’t think the Thrive challenge alone would have automatically changed my life, but I also don’t think I would have created a new way of living without it, either. Combining Thrive with the rest of my health efforts made all of the difference. I continue to do my Thrive routine every morning because, why quit while I’m ahead? I’ve been going for six months strong and have honestly never felt more in control of my life.
2. The simpler, the better
Here’s a fun fact about me: it’s so hard for me to try and stick with new things. The path of least resistance is my best friend, which means introducing big routines or changes completely overwhelms me.
At first, my resistance to change kept me from trying Thrive because I wasn’t really ready to dive into something new. But after seeing a lot of reviews, especially about how easy it was to do every day, I figured anybody can do this. Adding a couple of pills in the morning and making a premixed shake almost made my morning breakfast plans easier.
I didn’t notice major effects during the first few days, but soon after, subtle changes started making each day a bit easier. Some of the new habits that I used to forgo after a long work day didn’t seem so unachievable, like hitting the gym or even just doing a little yoga before bed. I didn’t lose a ton of weight all at once, but I definitely trimmed up—my clothes were fitting much better towards the end of the 60 days.
Since it’s so simple, I haven’t had a problem continuing the routine for the last several months. Simplifying my health needs with 3 easy steps made my other wellness goals so much more manageable!
3. Thrive is a natural way to boost my health
Along with the ease of the program, what really sold me on Thrive was the all-natural approach it took—instead of unhealthy methods to help with my weight management or energy levels, their products are made with nutrients that my body needs. Some ingredients include plant-based extracts, like ginger, grape seed, Garcinia Cambogia, green coffee extract, etc. I had to do a little research (I mean, who’s heard of Garcinia Cambogia?), but I was impressed with the actual contents of my shake and other products.
Not only do I feel confident using their products—I also love that those pesky habits that I’d failed again and again to create were finally becoming a reality for me. I naturally sleep better without a chemical sleep aid. I don’t need to buy a bunch of expensive workout powders to perform well at the gym. I’m doing all of the things I’ve always wanted to do without taking any shortcuts, which just goes to show that simple, natural methods works.
The 60-day challenge definitely worked for me—it worked for my mom, too, who has now roped my dad into trying it, thanks to my results. Do your research and see if the Thrive Experience is for you. If you’re on the fence, take it from a program-hopping health enthusiast—this one could be the start of something great.
