Previously, the Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick had a rather dull and traditional Lakme packaging, which I found pretty unappealing. It was challenging to identify the shade from the exterior. The plastic in that old Lakme packaging was decent, featuring a golden-colored bullet inside. However, I always wished that Lakme would revamp the packaging for this product.

My wish has come true, and the new Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick comes in a new avatar! The packaging is now transparent plastic with the brand’s logo embossed. It allows us to identify the shade quite easily. The bullet inside is a silver-colored one, which looks fantastic. Overall, the packaging is pretty sturdy and travel-friendly. And most importantly, it looks beautiful!

Look And Feel
The Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick texture is as soft and smooth as butter. Super creamy, it glides over the lips like a dream without causing any tugging or pulling. The product is highly moisturizing, and there is no need for a lip balm underneath it. It gives the lips a beautiful satin finish while keeping them well-moisturized and soft for an extended period. It has a typical Lakme aroma (a sweet floral fragrance) that fades away after an hour. However, it can be a little bothersome to women with sensitive noses.

Its excellent pigmentation allows for an intense payoff with just a single swipe, and it boasts good staying power, lasting around 3-4 hours even with meals. However, it tends to transfer onto surfaces, requiring careful blotting after application and an oil-based makeup remover for complete removal.
