  • 2 tsp aloe vera gel
  • 2 tsp grated or pureed Cucumber

Mix both the ingredients well to form a paste. Apply this all over your cleansed face. Leave it to dry and wash it off soon after. Aloe vera helps in restoring the moisture balance of the skin. Cucumber, which is full of water hydrates it. Both aloe vera and cucumber are excellent to soothe irritated skin, thereby they take care of the skin sensitivity.   • 2 tsp oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp yogurt

Mix them together and leave it for 10 minutes, so that the oats get softened a bit. Now massage this onto the face in circular motions. Let it stand on the face for about 20 minutes. Wash it off after that. This face mask will soothe your face and also moisturize it to leave it soft and supple.

Plain Honey Face Mask

Sometimes, one single ingredient can work wonders rather than going for a combination of ingredients. Honey is one such magic ingredient. It gently moisturizes the skin and long after you have washed it off also, as an after effect, your skin absorbs moisture from the environment and remains supple.

You can use this on a daily basis where the first thing you do in the morning is cleanse your face and apply some honey all over your face. It dries up as you go about your chores. Once it is dry, wash it off and pat your skin dry. Can any remedy get simpler?! While your face is still damp, you can spread a few drops of coconut oil on it to seal in the moisture.

  • 2 tbsp mashed banana
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • half tsp honey

Mix them all together and apply it on your skin. Leave it until it dries. Wash off with lukewarm water and repeat weekly for best results.
