Today, I’m going to review the Sandalwood Massage Oil from Khadi Herbal. The massage oil comes in a typical Khadi Herbal packaging. It is a simple long bottle made of regular transparent plastic. All the necessary information is printed on a plastic-coated paper and pasted on the body of the bottle. There is a black flip cap at its opening, which can be opened like a screw cap too. The bottle comes with a plastic seal and we need to create a hole in it in order to dispense the oil. But as soon as I created the hole, it started to leak oil. In short, I can say that the packaging is not at all travel-friendly and very unattractive too. However, as it is a transparent bottle, you can see how much is left inside from outside.
My Take on Khadi Herbal Sandalwood Massage Oil:
Khadi Herbal Sandalwood Massage Oil is bright orange in color and very light-weight by nature. The texture of the oil is silky smooth and the consistency is runny just like other regular oils. Honestly speaking, it doesn’t give that typical ‘oily’ or ‘sticky’ feel when poured onto the palm. Rather, it is very much watery. The oil has a ‘peculiar’ smell. Oh yes! I’m serious. You can get a mild fragrance of sandalwood when you smell it, but there is also a very much chemical-like aroma. The worst part is that the fragrance lingers on for an hour or so after the application and I truly hate it.
I usually use this oil 3 to 4 times a week and each time I apply it to my skin, I need to massage it at least for 5 minutes in order to make sure that it gets absorbed fully. However, it doesn’t make the skin oily or sticky, as I said before. It is free of SLS and parabens, which is really a plus for me. The oil is enriched with lots of herbal ingredients and vitamin E and I really found it helpful in making the skin firmer and youthful. My skin also remains well-hydrated all through the day whenever I apply this oil to it. But it neither has any effect on our nervous system nor does it prevent body ache. It doesn’t even have any cooling or soothing effects. In fact, this body massage oil has nothing special except its skin-firming properties.

Will I Recommend?
No. It doesn’t work upto its claims. Well, though it firms up the skin to some extent, there are many other anti-aging products available in the market, which offers even better results than this one.
