All You Need To Know About Fabrics For Your Body Type

Clothes play such an integral part in our lives that sometimes we tend to forget that we also need to don them in accordance with our body. A particular piece of clothing might look fabulous but what’s important is does it fit well? Does it match your body type? Does it go well with your skin colour? And more importantly, if you’re comfortable enough in what you are wearing, and if you’re not, things need to change. For instance, you need to accept that help is not a bad thing and sometimes trusting someone else’s opinion may not be a bad thing after all. So we want to do something about this dilemma of yours that you often tend to face in your daily lives. The following should help you figure what’s best for your body:

1. Tall

Who doesn’t want to be like them – the tall girls? Except tall girls themselves, as it can be such a huge pain dressing up! We get your problem and we are here to tell you it is actually extremely easy and all you have got to do is either embrace those long legs and wear dresses that show them off or best to stick with this jeans or well fitted trousers that will go perfectly will those long legs. This way, you can actually have it both ways and whichever fabric, cotton or silk, don’t forget to insure your legs as they are really, your finest asset!

 2. Pear

If you’re tired of having narrow shoulders with slim arms but rounded hips, don’t worry. You don’t have to be in a pickle about what to wear and what not to any more. We suggest you embrace those curves and wear fabrics that do not cling on to the lower half of your body that cling on, like leather and wool. Keep some weight in there though, and make sure you don’t go for anything over the top, might make you look shabby. Go subtle, and you’ll rock the look even before you know it!

The perfect bust and hips with a waist as narrow as every girl dreams of, you are the kind of girl every other girl desires to be! But even with having this desirable body type comes its own set of challenges. It’s easy though! Simply flaunt it! Accentuate those curves with Silk, Satin, Leather and pretty much everything else except any heavy material that will ruin your look!

Cotton, wool is the safest bet to complete your look and be sure to stay away from the sparkly, glittery shimmer type of clothes. This is because you don’t need to put your curves all out there, just make sure they’re sitting right with fabric and you need to be in comfort with ease. If you’ve got slim legs and hips and are heavier on the top, then you know exactly know what we’re talking about!

 5. Athletic

The most important thing here is that by creating some curves, you accentuate your slim and straight frame and fabrics like Cotton, Satin and Silk are the ones that are going to help you do the exact thing. Avoid heavy fabrics like Leather and Cotton because they will not flatter your figure. So don’t go for tight fabrics as they wont do justice to you and  your athletic build.

6. Petite

Don’t worry if you’re petite and got a narrow frame that you’re not proud of, On the contrary, you can actually carry off pretty much anything! Linens, cotton and wool are your best bet while if you want to show off those beautiful curves of yours, opt for anything that is tight and clings to your body and there you go! Unless you want to wear something balloon-ey, you’ll be just fine!  Go on and flaunt those mesmerizing curves!
