Make Your Own Hydrating Avocado Hair Masks At Home

Avocado is one of the best natural moisturizers, which is packed with antioxidants, vital vitamins and essential nutrients. We have already told you how to feed your skin with nourishing avocado masks. Now, let us tell you about some super-hydrating avocado masks that will bring back life to your dry, rough and damaged hair.

Hydrating Avocado Hair Masks

1. Pure Avocado Hair Mask

Take a ripe avocado depending upon the length of your hair. Cut it into two halves. Mash one half properly with your fingers and apply on your hair evenly.

2. Avocado and Honey Hair Mask

Reduce a small ripe avocado into pulp and mix 1 tablespoon honey with it. This mask should be used on damp hair and make sure that you do not use much honey as it will turn your locks sticky.

3. Avocado and Yogurt Hair Mask

Take (1/2) cup mashed ripe avocado and (1/2) cup plain yogurt. Blend well and apply on your dry and damaged hair as a hydrating mask. It also helps in making hair strong and long.

4. Avocado and Mayonnaise Hair Mask

Being made of oil, egg and vinegar, mayonnaise can give our hair enough moisture, volume and shine. Just combine 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise with 1 small mashed avocado and apply evenly on hair.

5. Avocado and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Prepare the mask by mixing 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with 1 cup mashed ripe avocado. It is super nourishing as well as moisturizing and can be used for extremely dry and frizzy hair.

6. Avocado and Egg Yolk Hair Mask

Blend 1 egg yolk with (1/2) cup of nicely mashed ripe avocado. Make a smooth mixture of medium-consistency. This mask not only hydrates the hair, but also gives the follicles a significant protein boost.

7. Avocado, Olive Oil and Honey Hair Mask

Mash a small ripe avocado and add both honey and olive oil to it (2 tablespoons each). You can make the mask even more beneficial by pouring a couple of drops of lavender essential oil into it.

8. Avocado, Olive Oil and Egg Yolk Hair Mask

Scoop out the pulp of a medium-sized ripe avocado. Add 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil to it. Blend them together and apply on your locks to get rid of dryness and roughness.

9. Avocado, Banana and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Banana also induces lots of moisture in our hair. You can prepare a mask by combining 1 mashed ripe avocado, 1 smoothly mashed banana and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to hydrate your dry, coarse locks.

10. Avocado, Milk and Olive Oil Hair Mask

Include milk in your hair mask to give your tresses some added moisture. All you need to do is blend (1/2) cup of raw milk and 1 tablespoon of olive oil with the pulp of a small ripe avocado.

11. Avocado, Olive oil, Mayonnaise and Banana Hair Mask

This is another super-hydrating hair mask that combines 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado, 1 tablespoon of mashed banana, 1 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil and (1/2) cup of mayonnaise. For better results, wash your hair with apple cider vinegar each time after using this mask.

12. Avocado, Honey, Olive Oil, Lemon, Millet Flour and Rose Petal Hair Mask

Soak a handful of fresh rose petals in 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil for the night. Add this natural scalp-soothing infusion, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of pure raw honey and (1/2) cup of millet flour to 1 cup of mashed ripe avocado. Mix well and apply on your hair.
