L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Review

I am an avid kalaj lover and I guess this is a must have product in the Indian vanity case. L’Oreal has ventured into kohl’s and joined the bandwagon of kajals recently. I saw the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai doing an advertisement for it and it just felt so perfect on her, I decided to grab it. So here I am with the review of the newly launched L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique.

L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Review

This kajal comes in a new and oh so sexy packaging. The pack is totally black in color with bold pink prints on it. The kajal is in a retractable pencil and it contains 0.35 grams of product. I know the product quantity is really less as compared to the price but when you are a kajal hoarder you don’t have the time to look at the price. The pack is classy and travel friendly. I don’t think the pencil will last long and I think Loreal should reduce the price a bit.

L’Oreal Paris Kajal Magique Review

The texture of the kajal is slightly creamy. I won’t say it’s very creamy but you don’t need to tug your eyes to apply it. The pigmentation of the kajal is not jet black. But its dark black. The color builds up in 2-3 swipes and it appears one of the darkest blacks. Regarding the smudging this one beats all the ones that are in the market currently including the colossal and eyeconic ones. It won’t smudge at all. So all the ladies with oily eyelids like me there is a savior for us.

The kajal stays for about 4 hours on my waterline and when applied as an eyeliner it stays out for about 8 hours. I usually layer it with 2-3 coats for a more intense look. The kajal gets set after sometime and then it won’t budge. The application is very easy and quick, so all those who are scared of liquid and gel eyeliners you can close your eyes and buy this one.

Overall I think it’s definitely a good buy and can be used as a kajal and as an eyeliner. I only feel that a little more quantity could have been better.
