Benefits of Brahmi Powder For  Hair

Brahmi powder promotes overall health of the hair which makes it grow longer and thicker. Some of the benefits that Brahmi powder has on hair are:

Prevention of split ends: If you use brahmi powder on your hair regularly, you will notice that the number of split ends reduce drastically. This is because brahmi coats the hair follicles with a layer of protection that provides luster and reduces the possibility of split ends. This also allows the hair to develop volume and length.

Reduction of hair loss: With the use of Brahmi powder on a regular basis, the roots are well nourished. This allows the hair to grow with the support of thick roots. Brahmi also keeps the scalp cool allowing hair to grow and remain strong.

Reduction of dandruff: Using Brahmi reduces dandruff and also prevents itchy scalp. This is because the scalp is nourished and the dry skin on the scalp is removed. Brahmi provides moisture to the scalp to take care of any moisture related issue.

How To Use Brahmi On The Hair:

There are many ways that you can reap the benefits of Brahmi. There are a few options that will help obtain the best possible results. Here are three application options that you can try at home:

1. Creating an herbal infusion:  Mix the brahmi powder with ashwagandha, tulsi, neem, amla and bhringraj. Boil some water and add it to the mixture. Allow the herbs to create an infusion with the water. All you need to do is allow the water and the jar to sit overnight in a jar with a tight lid. After the infusion is ready, strain the leaves and the powder out. Use the liquid that you get to rinse your hair after shampooing it. The consistency of this paste should be similar to yoghurt. Allow this mixture to soak for a while and then apply it on your hair. Let the paste dry completely. After that, you can rinse it off with only water for nourished hair. This is a process that does not consume too much time.

3. Combine it with coconut water: To a cup of water, add a cup of coconut water. To this add brahmi powder and amla powder. Mix it well till it forms a thick paste. Apply this paste on your hair and let it dry. Once it is dry wash it off with water. Make sure that you do not use any shampoo to wash this paste off.
