The secret of a glowing and beautiful skin lies in its regular exfoliation. Exfoliation is essentially a process of removing dead cells of skin and reviving it. Recipe no. 1 

Oats and vinegar based Exfoliant – Oats is one of the best cereals to consume. This is known for its health benefits. Now you can use benefits of this great food for betterment of your skin too. Check out the recipe below-

Ingredients – 2 or 3 teaspoons of raw oats, 1 teaspoon of honey, ¼ teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 drop of basil oil or tea tree oil.

Method – Grind raw oats using a blender to turn it into powder. Mix in honey and apple cider vinegar into the powdered oats till the moment it converts into a smooth paste. After the mix gets ready, add 1 drop of basil oil/tea tree oil. This mix works as wonderful natural exfoliant and also heals your skin.

Note – for a better skin do not forget to include more and more oats in your diet.

Lemon Based Exfoliant- Lemon incorporates wonderful abilities to remove dead cells from skin. Its every part can be used as an exfoliant. Let’s check, how to make a lemon zest based exfoliant –

Ingredients – ½ cup of sugar, 1.5 Tablespoon of oil, ½ cup oatmeal, lemon zest, 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Method – Blend all the ingredients together to convert it into paste. Your homemade exfoliant is ready for use. Lemon Zest will add tinge of freshness in this paste.

Recipe no 3 –

Exfoliant from your kitchen – This is one of the easiest recipes to make exfoliant. Know which kitchen products are able to exfoliate your skin wonderfully.

Ingredients – 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon sea salt and few drops of olive oil.

Method – Mix baking soda and sea salt first and then add olive oil to form a paste like texture. Your easiest exfoliant won’t take much time to be ready. Seasalt is a great exfoliator while baking Soda will polish your skin to make it glow more.

Recipe no. 4

Brown sugar and olive oil exfoliant – Combine the goodness of brown sugar and olive oil to get a great skin. This exfolient not only gives you an unmatched facial glow but also it is apt to scrub your entire body.

Ingredients – 3 teaspoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil.

Method – Keep olive oil in a wide mouth bowl and keep adding brown sugar into it in small quantities. Keep stirring this mix till a thick paste forms. Apply this paste on face as well as massage your body. This exfoliant will not only offer you a revived skin but also it’ll keep your skin moisturized.

Note – if needed, add more drops of olive oil.

Things to consider – Beauty experts advise to exfoliate skin at least two to three times a week to get the best results. This frequency of skin exfoliation doesn’t allow dead skin cells to be stored on your face.

Recipe no. 5

Cucumber and Avocado based Exfoliant – another exfoliator gets its way from your fruit basket. It uses skin improving qualities of cucumber and avocado to endow you with a wonderful skin.

Ingredients –  ¼ cup of grated cucumber, ¼ cup of peeled sliced avocado, ¼ cup of powdered almonds and ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil

Method – Take all the ingredients excluding oil and put them into a jar. Now grind these ingredients till they mix nicely. After mixing them, add oil and keep the mix stirring till oil gets completely incorporated.

Note – avocado, cucumber and almonds are taken as some of best natural ingredients for health and beauty benefits. When these great fruits are mixed together with olive oil, they make for a great exfoliating agent which immediately makes your skin look ravishing.
