Not all of us love a sun-kissed skin. But wearing a high-SPF sunblock might not be enough for us to prevent it always. So, what is the solution? Of course various simple home remedies that can be used easily and inexpensively. Check out our must-know list of 10:
1. Pure Lemon Juice
Apply freshly squeezed juice of a lemon all over your tanned skin at least thrice a week. Wash away once it dries. The bleaching properties of the citrus fruit will remove tan eventually.
2. Aloe Vera Gel
Take a large fresh aloe vera leaf and scoop out its gel carefully. Massage the troubled sections of the skin with it every night and wash off in the morning. The result will be visible within 15 days.
3. Raw Potato Paste
De-skin a couple of raw potatoes and cute them into cubes. Now, make a paste of them by using a blender and apply it all over the tanned part of your skin. Wash off with cold water after half an hour. Being a natural bleach, potato juice will help in de-pigmentation.

4. Soaked Almond and Milk Paste
Soak 6-7 almonds into plain water for the whole night. In the morning, make a paste of them and mix with 2 tablespoons of fresh milk. Then, apply it to your tans and leave overnight. It will heal your sun burned skin and give you a natural glow.
5. Gram Flour Paste
Add 2 tablespoons of water to 3 to 4 tablespoons of gram flour and make a smooth paste of medium consistency. Scrub your tanned skin gently with this mixture in small circular motion by using your fingertips. Doing this treatment twice weekly will give you a tan-free gorgeous skin.
6. Cucumber Juice, Lime Juice and Turmeric Powder Mix
Both cucumber and lemon have bleaching properties, while the turmeric can lighten our skin tone considerably. So, extract fresh juice of cucumber and lemon 1 tablespoon each and add (1/2) teaspoon of turmeric powder to it. Apply it to the affected skin parts, wait for half an hour and then, wash off.
7. Cucumber, Yogurt, Tomato and Gram Flour Pack
Prepare a rich and smooth mixture by combining 3 tablespoons of gram flour, 2 tablespoons of cucumber juice and 2 tablespoons of tomato pulp with 4 tablespoons of plain yogurt. Apply it thoroughly and rinse away after 35 to 40 minutes with lukewarm water. Your tan will be replaced with a natural glow.
8. Sandalwood Powder and Rose Water Face Pack
Make a thick paste by blending 2 tablespoons of rose water with 3 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and apply the troubled section of the skin thoroughly. Let it dry for 30 minutes and then, rinse away. Both ingredients have great skin lightening properties, which will reduce your tan significantly.

9. Milk Cream, Lemon Juice and Turmeric Powder Mix
Milk cream is extremely soothing and nourishing for a sun tanned skin. All you need to do is add a teaspoonful of fresh lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder to (1/2) cup of fresh milk cream and massage the troubled spots with this mixture. It will help you get rid of tan fast.
10. Buttremilk and Oatmeal Powder Mixture
Grind a handful of oatmeals coarsely. Add 2 teaspoons of buttermilk to it. Now, mix well and exfoliate your tanned skin gently with it. Leave it onto the skin for next half an hour. Finally, wash off with cold water. Regular application of this mixture will help you get a tan-free skin naturally.
